Established in May 2015 by Majid Al Futtaim, The Leadership Institute is an innovative, one-of-its-kind institution created with the purpose of further developing and fostering a sustainable culture of transformative and visionary leadership across Majid Al Futtaim’s core businesses and operating companies, while also offering innovative and hands-on leadership development to new and existing employees across the organisation through partnerships with leading experts.

Our goal is to inspire employees to spearhead the business' future ambitions, to shape and promote a common Majid Al Futtaim culture via based on the company’s core values – to be bold, passionate and together – and to build a community that’s focused on creating great moments for everyone, everyday.

At Majid Al Futtaim, we understand that bringing out the best in others means bringing out the best in ourselves. We do both at The Leadership Institute, where our experienced executive educators and industry experts invest vast amounts of time, energy and money into our talented team’s leadership development. We offer our people – across roles, business units and operating companies – practical opportunities to explore themselves, discover and develop their potential, and lead the way in not only the company’s success, but theirs as well. Intensive workshops, conferences, one-to-one coaching and mentoring sessions take place during four key programmes, which each being aimed at different roles across all our business units and operating companies across the region, with the goal being to nurture our current leadership and foster our future leaders.
